Lets start with the most important question...
What methods do i use?
The methods i use methods are as positive as possible. Trainers who call themselves purely positve are misleading
- you can not train a dog with only positive methods as they need the negative feedback, even if
it is just a simple NO.
I am a firm but fair trainer. Dogs need boundaries but they also need understanding. I am a very big fan of
clicker training, it is a fantastic way to positively teach your dog exactly what you want without having to push him or her
around.
My own Hebe is a living example to the power of clicker training, she loves to work with me - now if only i can find
an off switch!

What methods dont i use?
I do not use or advocate the use of prong collars, choke chains or any electronic (shock collars, mats etc) device.
There is NO need to train with pain.
What i will train and advise on
* Lead walking
* Toilet training
* Crate training
* Recall training
* Socialisation and manners around other dogs
* Anti lunge training - for dogs who chase cars or are scared of and lunge at various items (often a collie problem)
* Basic manners - sit, down, wait etc
Puppy socialisation
The optimum age for socialising a puppy is between 7 weeks and 16 weeks. If you have a nervous or aggressive
puppy i can help you turn them around before it becomes an ingrained habit. I can either give you advice on
turning your puppy around or i can take your puppy for socialisation sessions myself - the choice is yours.
